PUBLIC TOUR

Espace 1606 offers visitors an immersive experience, including a one-hour film in which six figures from 1606 shares stories of their everyday lives, all projected on a giant 60m2 screen. Thanks to 21st century technologies, the exhibition captures early 17th century Fribourg in the minutest of detail. More than 7,000 details, to be precise, which range from trees and buildings right up to the many tiny people who dot the landscape.
 
Journey back in time and enjoy an immersive and interactive tour of 17th century Fribourg thanks to one of the most accomplished and detailed scale models in Switzerland and lots of fun and informative multimedia displays.

TOUR DETAILS

The session runs for around 50 minutes. It is in French, with German and English subtitles. Tickets can be bought on arrival or online. No more than 40 visitors are permitted per screening.
 
Please arrive 5 - 10 minutes before the screening begins and make yourself known to the staff at the ticket office.
